Crit - Chop Board

For this week’s Crit on The Dieline I reviewed the packaging for a new sustainable mango wood chopping board from independent, international, on-line design superstore Cow&Co. Designed by SB Studio the design utilises a simple tag, sleeve and string combination with embossed and diecut detail to reflect the crafted nature of an everyday product.

Crit - Joe's Tea Co.

For this week’s Crit on The Dieline I reviewed the packaging created for a new brand of premium organic teas, developed by Joe Kinch of Joe’s Tea Company, that combines high-quality Sri Lanka leaves with a variety of fruits, herbs and chocolate. Based around playful interpretations of classic heraldic liveries, inspired by the City of London, the design solution, created by Echo, delivers a distinctive mix of contemporary illustration, traditional typesetting and Victorian themes.

Crit - WB&Co

For this week’s Crit on The Dieline I reviewed the packaging for WB&Co’s range of 100% organic juices. Created by Seed, the design solution mixes sans serif typography, a monochromatic colour palette, screen print and adhesive label treatment across a proprietary glass design to resolve the regional and high quality proposition of the brand, the traditional cold-pressed nature of the product and intentionally avoids the familiar visual cues of the organic sector with the intention of capturing the attention of the urban consumer.

Crit - Absolut Unique

For this week’s Crit on The Dieline I reviewed Absolut’s latest ‘limited’ edition range Absolut Unique, a generative design and manufacturing solution developed in collaboration with Family Business that will randomly create a one-of-a-kind design across each of the 4 million bottles produced through a carefully orchestrated but random mix of 38 colours and 51 pattern types.
